Labex Entreprendre had the pleasure of manning a stand at the La Place Créative trade fair, organised by the CCI Hérault, which this year attracted over 1,870 participants to the Parc des Expositions in Montpellier.
We were lucky enough to host one of the highlights of the day with “La Place Aux Pitchs”. Once again this year, the competition was a real success, with no fewer than 27 “pitchers” taking part. Each of them was able to present their project to one of our 5 juries, made up of management professors (Montpellier Management and Université de Montpellier), doctoral students and research engineers (Chaire AE2i and E2 Lab), as well as master’s students (IAE Montpellier and IAE Startup Lab).
Following these presentations, 5 projects were selected to “Pitcher” before a jury of 17 experts from the world of entrepreneurship. From left to right: M. Zoccoli Gourdin with the Solar Experience project, Mme Dubos with the VASY project, Mme Merle with the Maline project, M. Bousquet with the Carnelec project and Mme Bergerol with the Cimetière en Fleurs project.
🥇 In the end, Maline presented by Zoé Merle won this competition with the presentation of panties that naturally relieve period pain while respecting the planet.
🥈 In second place, Solar Experience by Louis Zoccoli Gourdin, from Montpellier Management, whose project is to create kits to create your own solar panels.
🥉 And finally Livia DUBOS with her project VASY – APP DE NAVIGATION GPS PERSONNALISÉS, which aims to propose solutions to current urban mobility issues, completes this podium.
They will receive support from the CCI Hérault and the BIC de Montpellier, as well as vouchers for Espace Entreprise coworking rooms and support services from MOMA Junior Conseil offered by the Chaire Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Lab of Labex Entreprendre.
